Introduction and Bad Idea Factory
20-Time Projects have begun! For the last several weeks, we've been brainstorming for projects which will explore a passion, solve a problem, or contribute to personal growth. Students in both my fourth and seventh period classes have already come up with some exciting ideas...and some delightfully bad ones. The idea of the bad idea factory is this: dream up as many terrible ideas as possible, examine why they're bad, and then either dismiss them or turn them into ideas with potential to be something good. Most groups have arrived at their "something good", or at least something with potential, and are moving on to completing their proposals.
